I am trying to design specific medium culture to improve production of bio-based products.
Currently, I want to improve bacteriocin production by lactic acid bacteria. So at the first step, I am reconstructing a genome-scale metabolic model for lactic acid bacteria. Then, I apply the model and a new algorithm to identify key genes contributing in high yield production.
I’m also interested in bioinformatics tools for integration of metabolic networks with transcriptomic data.
