In my thesis, I aim to analyze the metabolic regulation of Zymomonas mobilis to improve the performance of microbial fuel cells in generating electricity. Therefore, at first, I investigated the potential of Zymomonas mobilis in electricity production. Then I rely on databases and genome-scale models, I’m trying to improve the electricity generation by Zymomonas mobilis in a microfluidic fuel cell.
