In my thesis, I aim to analyze co-metabolism of phenol and bisphenol A to develop a compilation of kinetic and metabolic models of Ralstonia eutropha simultaneously. I am modifying the metabolic model of ralstonia eutropha with regards to the databases and other models in order to have a better understanding of biochemical interaction in cometabolism of phenol and bisphenol A and I am validating it with experimental data from the literature.
I also intend to use metabolic engineering to develop industrial strains of prokaryotic microorganisms to increase their production rate and yield.
