My project aims to look for strategies to optimize the production of hyaluronic acid as a widely used bio-polymer in biomedical, food, health and cosmetic fields. For this purpose, I reconstructed a genome scale metabolic model to simulate and analyze the metabolism of the desired bacterial strain.
