Hasan Gharibi

As an undergraduate student, I studied Chemical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. Upon my graduation I wanted to explore rather different areas of chemical engineering and since I always liked the medical applications of engineering, I chose to study Biotechnology Engineering at Tarbiat Modares University. In my Thesis research I tried to see the interplays between regulatory and metabolic networks in cancer. I used TRFBA algorithm and other methods to overcome the challenge of integrating these two networks. I also have done wet lab, where I used two ovarian cancer cell line to validate my computational outcome through experiments.

In my spare time I love to watch scientific events such as TED Talks and study neuroscience and machine learning.
