My research is about designing an optimum culture based on BG11 media for increasing ethanol production by Synechocystis sp. pcc 6803. I used a genome scale model to identify genes, inhibitors and activators that affect ethanol production by Synechocystis sp. pcc 6803. This method can be an appropriate alternative for genetic engineering.
